Luxon Bute started off as a cover band from Ponteland middle School. Its members were very differrent and the band has been called The Prom Proms and Stratos before Luxon Bute. The band started out with Adam Barker on guitar, dan peel on guitar, dan smithson on bass and Josh Taylor on drums, this has been radically overhauled to get to the current band line up.

We now play original melodic rock songs and perform them around Newcastle. We have grown into a great live act and recording artist just searching for the next oppurtunity or breakthrough. We have also been named the best live act in the North east by Live and unsigned and subsequently won the national final becoming the best unsigned under18 band in England.
